Backup Float Switch Pump Controllers
The Backup Float Switch Controllers are designed to work with float switches to automatically detect liquid levels and control single speed pumps for lift stations and other fluid pump-down applications in the event of a primary controller failure. These units can also be used as primary controllers. When operating as a backup controller, they will only control the pumps if the primary controller fails to maintain a liquid level within the normal operating limits.
Features include:
- Fully redundant backup pump control capability to protect against primary control or sensor failure
- Two models available to control up to 3 pumps with built-in alternation and time delay between pump starts.
- 3 modes of operation including:
- Backup single float
- Backup duat float
- primary float switch controller
- pumps, system, and alarams status indicators on front panel.
- Alarm relay output to detect alarms from remote site.
- Uses non-volatile memory allowing system to retain program software during power loss.
