Pressure Pump Controllers
The DCC Pressure Pump Controllers are designed to work with pressure sensors to automatically control either single or variable speed pumps for pressure booster stations, filling tanks, and other fluid pumping applications.
Controllers include:
- Pressure Controller Series II and Pressure Booster Pump Controllers (Constant Speed Pump Control)
- Universal Pressure Booster Pump Controller (Constant and Variable Speed Pump Control)
Pressure Controller Series II and Pressure Booster Pump Controllers
The Pressure Controller Series II (PC2) and Pressure Booster Pump Controllers (PBC) automatically control single speed pumps to maintain a specific pressure level between setpoints. They are designed to be the heart of pump control systems for pressure booster stations, tanks, buildings, and other fluid pump-up applications.
Features include:
- Two models available to control up to 4 pumps with built-in alternation and time delay between pump starts.
- Accepts 2 types of sensors including any 4-20 mA pressure transmitters and floats switches.
- Automatically selects a backup sensor in the event the primary sensor fails. If the primary sensor fails then the system will operate on backup floats or a backup 4-20 mA signal sensor (optional).
- Setpoints adjustable from front panel or remotely via serial port.
- Low supply pumps shutdown input.
- Bargraph displays pressure and setpoints.
- Pumps, sensors, and alarms status indicators on front panel.
- Front panel test knob for simulated pressure input testing.
- 4-20 mA signal output proportional to pressure.
- RS-232 serial port for SCADA communications support and PC interfacing.
- Uses non-volatile memory allowing system to retain program software and setpoints during power loss.

Universal Pressure Booster Pump Controller
The Universal Pressure Booster Pump Controller (UPBC) is designed to work with pressure sensors to control constant speed pumps or variable speed pumps for booster stations, tanks, buildings, and other fluid pump-up applications where proportional flow or pressure is required.
Features include:
- Controls up to 4 pumps with built-in alternation and time delay between pump starts.
- Controls variable and single speed pumps.
- Minimum speed adjustment.
- Field adjustable PID control loop from front panel.
- Maintains preset system pressure.
- Isolated inputs and outputs (optional).
- Accepts 2 types of sensors including most pressure sensors and floats switches.
- Automatically selects a backup sensor in the event the primary sensor fails.
- Low supply pumps shutdown input.
- Connection for battery backup with built-in charger.
- Setpoints adjustable from front panel or remotely via serial port.
- LED numeric and dual bargraph readout.
